There is a wind that blows
from a distant place
that somehow feels like home.
That is where Peter Sandler
believes music comes from.
Peter writes music to connect, heal, and inspire.
While he struggles to describe his own music, Peter once heard a friend describe it as sounding
"as if
Frank Sinatra played folk". Whether or not that was accurate, Peter was flattered.
Though his influences range across many genres, Peter's primary influences include Radiohead, Elliot Smith, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, sprinkled in with Nirvana, Nick Drake, Chopin, and many others.
These days, you can find Pennsylvania-based Peter Sandler performing, working on his debut album, and recording music for a documentary about his brother to spread awareness of epilepsy and autism.
